Improvisation is an enjoyable and safe environment for an individual to experience self-growth. Plus it is SUPER FUN! Through interactive activities and exercise, our students get the chance to experience growth on a physical, emotional and physical level. This program teaches acting techniques AND improves confidence, has social benefits and promotes communication skills.

Shakespeare Performance Program

Dec 2-May 19, 2025

 (ages 7-15) 2:35-4pm.

We do meet on Monday holidays (MLK & President's day) and will not take a spring break.

$475 ($500 if paying via Charter) 

Join us for a fun and exciting program of rehearsing and performing an edit of one of Shakespeare’s plays. Our script is edited from the original text keeping the Elizabethan English.  Through physical and theatrical exercises, students will learn how to create and develop a character, understand Shakespeare and use their voices and bodies to tell this great story.  We’ll bring it all together as we prepare for live performance with  stage combat! This class is a safe and supportive atmosphere where students are encouraged to make bold acting choices while learning teamwork and gaining confidence.  All students will get a speaking role involving lines that will need to be memorized on schedule. Roles range in size (small, medium and large) and will be cast in consideration of class size, production needs and student preference. Performance in the courtyard on the last day of class on May 19 at 3:30 or 4pm TBA.
